Are you a high school student who loves fishing and the outdoors? Do you dream of competing on the water, learning from experienced anglers, and representing your community in fishing tournaments across Minnesota and the Dakotas?
The Reel Escape Fishing Team is now accepting applications for the 2026 season! Sponsored by 218 Escapes, this elite youth fishing team will compete using our fully rigged Skeeter Boat with Yamaha outboard – a professional-grade boat designed for serious fishing and serious fun!
Who We’re Looking For
- Minnesota Student anglers from Moorhead, Detroit Lakes, or surrounding Heart O’Lakes communities. (DGF, Hawley, Barnesville, Lake Park-Audubon, Pelican Rapids)
- Grades 8–12 (as of Fall 2025), eligible to compete in SATT, Junior BASS, SAF, etc. in 2026
- Passionate about fishing and having fun on the water – any skill level welcome
- Committed to teamwork, safe boating, sportsmanship, and outdoor leadership
- Willing to travel and participate in tournaments, team practices, and community events
What You’ll Get
